The Smoke-Free Homes Network is an idea that has grown from several meetings over the past 18 months that have looked at how we can build on the work carried out in the REFRESH (Reducing Families' Exposure to Second-Hand Smoke at Home) carried out in Scotland between 2009 and 2013. These meetings, held in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, have brought together researchers, clinicians, those involved in providing smoking cessation services, the third sector and many others, and have helped us realise that Scotland is at the forefront of work to help encourage smoke-free homes and cars. This network gives us a way to keep in touch and a forum for our thoughts and ideas. It will aim to help support those involved in smoke-free homes activity in Scotland and beyond. We look forward to working with everyone who is involved in this field. So, please keep in touch and come back to our website regularly in the next couple of weeks. We held our first meeting at the University of Edinburgh on the 20th May 2015 and will establish further content on the website over this summer.
